Adopt-a-street program

The city of Martin is launching an Adopt-A-Street project.  Mayor Randy Brundige encourages all citizens and business owners to get involved in this important project.  The mayor stated, “Martin is a beautiful city and when prospective industry executives are here and tour the area clean streets and neighborhoods make a positive impact during their decision process.”

The project will be coordinated through the Martin Beautiful Committee and Martin Public Works.  All streets in the Martin city limits are up for adoption and individuals, families, scout groups, civic organizations, church groups, UTM groups, and business owners can help by adopting a street or streets.

The Martin Beautiful Committee has identified Hyndsver Road as needing extra attention.  Individuals and groups are encouraged to join together to adopt Hyndsver.

To Adopt-A-Street or get more information contact:  Marvin Downing at 587-6054 or Penny Moser at 588-5766.
