Accomplishments in 2007

1.  Presented the successful Home-Garden-Sporting Expo 2007.

2.   Participated in Clean Up Days and continue to clean up.

3.   Sent "Thank You" notes to residences.

4.   Purchase, assemble hanging baskets for gazebo and maintained.

5.   Purchased 2 concrete benches for the high school.

6.   Purchased plants and shrubs for the Fire Department.

7.   Purchased plants and shrubs for the Miles Chapel Adopt-a-Site.

8.   Planted and maintained flower-bed at City Hall.

9.   Renovated, planted and maintained Poplar Falls Park flower-beds.

10. Purchased 7 picnic tables and painted them for Weldon Park and Poplar Falls Park.

11. Conducted annual Martin Beautiful Awards.

12 Helped the planning of West Tennessee Youth Outdoor Jamboree and conducted registration.

13. Mowed and trimmed grass and shrubs in miscellaneous areas throughout the year.

14. Funded planting, flag light and paved walk area around flag pole in Festival Park.

15. Accepted two reader boards from Nan Rountree.

16. Purchased polo shirts with embroidered name for members.

17. Accepted four new Adopt-a-Sites.

18. Planted flowers in spring and fall at Post Office.

19.  Assisted with getting and installing City Christmas Tree in Festival Park.
